the Road to Living Well With Diabetes
On
the Road to Living Well with Diabetes was developed in collaboration
with University of Hawaii, University of New Mexico, Joslin Diabetes
Center and USDA Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension
Service.
- WSU
Extension faculty offer one and half hour classes in the community.
- The
classes are targeted to people living with diabetes.
- The
objective is to involve people in their own care and management
of diabetes.
- Participants
receive three tests related to diabetes management -

Classes provide information about diabetes and the 5 tests to
monitor diabetes care, and seek to empower individuals to become
involved in their own care.
