Cooking Light Magazine sponsors this site, which provides recipes and menu suggestions including brunch, holidays and special occasions.

FamilyFun - This Web site was created by FamilyFun, a division of Disney and contains a wealth of information for families. Topics include: family meal information, meal planning tips, and over 10,000 recipes. There is also an article library that is helpful when looking for specific information.

The Learning Network developed this site, which has ideas to help make cooking a family affair. It includes recipes kids can help to make (and eat!) and a section to share your favorite family recipes with other parents.

Kraft Foods Web site features an interactive kitchen, mealtime tips, a recipe search along with contests and promotions. A special Food and Family section provides ideas on how to bring the family together.

Mealtime Ideas - Pillsbury offers an online recipe search, a make ahead meals section along with tips, techniques and tools for failure proof cooking, and etc.

Nutrition Explorations - Sponsored by the National Dairy Council, this site includes the "Family Food Zone" which provides nutrition information and recipes to help busy families make healthy food choices, while the "Kids Zone" contains games, contests and stories to help children learn about good nutrition.

The Other White Meat - This Web site is a service of the National Pork Board and features a recipe finder with online video demonstrations and fun stuff for the kids.

Beef.org - At this site, the National Cattlemen's Beef Association provides food safety information, recipes and information on how to select the leanest cuts of beef in their "Cattle and Beef Handbook" section.

Dole 5 A Day - The national 5 A Day program Web site educates kids and their parents about why fruit and vegetables are so good for you!

American Dietetic Association Web site includes tips on healthy eating and living. This Web site includes nutrition fact sheets on a variety of topics.

Nutrition Cafe, a joint endeavor by the Pacific Science Center and the Washington State Dairy Council, where nutrition information is fun! It is full of games, food and nutrition facts and activities for kids.

Fight BAC is an endeavor of the Partnership for Food Safety Education and provides information about seasonal food safety, basic food safety information, activities for kids, and links to other food safety sites and resources.

Team Nutrition - This USDA site provides nutrition education resources for children and parents, schools and communities. Resources include "Parent Place", which is full of fun activities your and your child can do together.

Healthy Choices for Kids - The growers of Washington State apples created this nutrition education Web site. It provides information and activities parents can use to educate their children on the importance of nutrition.

Healthy Eating for a Lifetime - This Web site by the Public Health Department of Seattle and King Counties provides nutrition and healthy eating information; including a featured "Recipe of the Week", as well as, many healthy recipes in a database.

24 Carrot Press - This Web site provides educational materials and newsletters written by Connie Evers, R.D., as well as nutrition facts of the week in "The Weekly Carrot".

Parenting.com - The Parenting Group developed this parenting resource that provides skill-building ideas. Search for articles on family meals.

Federal Consumer Information Center Web site has articles/guides to help you eat healthier, food safety and the food pyramid.

Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion site featuring a food guide pyramid, servings, dietary guidelines, and tips for healthy thrifty meals.

Iowa State University Extension Food & Nutrition Publicatoins - A search for family meals leads to publications such as "Say Yes to Family Meals", "Food for the Working Family" and "How to Serve Quick, Healthy Meals".

Parenting: Nutrition & Mealtime - This publication, sponsored by VORT, provides helpful tips and hints from your own child's point of view in context with nutrition, picky eaters, choking, appetite and behavior.
