Safety
To
reduce the risk of food borne illness, all fresh produce (including
organic produce) should be washed well.
A
simple food safety flyer can be:
- Inserted
into produce bags with home deliveries and bag pick-ups at senior
dining sites.
- Posted
or distributed at WIC clinics or senior centers.
- Posted
at the information table or WIC table at a farmers market.
